Silvio Unax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Angelino Pedroso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BOCA COLOMBIANO's Silvio Unax. Silvio Unax was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andres Horado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Diagur having to make a save. John Conde was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 33 minutes, Saverio Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ascensión AFC and the BOCA COLOMBIANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ascensión AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Saverio Navarro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ascensión AFC's zone, John Conde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Diagur came out of the goal and John Conde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Herena in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Ascensión AFC booed when BOCA COLOMBIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Lander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 50 played minutes, Ascensión AFC's Manuel Gora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvio Unax came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ascensión AFC reached it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angel Flor to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, BOCA COLOMBIANO's John Conde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Diagur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Ascensión AFC's zone, Andres Horado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Diagur came out of the goal and Andres Horado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes, Rolando Cristofol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOCA COLOMBIANO and the Ascensión AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BOCA COLOMBIANO getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rolando Cristofol hit a great ball. Silvio Unax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Horado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tobias Diagur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, John Conde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Herena in the 88th minute of play forced BOCA COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Silvio Unax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Pedroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Silvio Unax made a huge save. BOCA COLOMBIANO's John Conde got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Gregorio Ritchie in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BOCA COLOMBIANO's Nestor Mano. In the 99th minute of the match, Angel Flor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silvio Unax saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
