The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeremias Banegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Birjaio having to interfere. If Ciriaco Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Chucho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Gavino Corderun made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Banegas in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Birjaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quilmes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciriaco Ixidor was slow to take the kick. During this time Nahueve's players had a chance to rest. Quilmes's Jacinto Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Banegas in the 14th minute of play. Tomás Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Ixidor in the 16th minute of play forced Quilmes's goalkeeper Jacinto Birjaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Banegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Banegas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Birjaio saved Quilmes from getting behind. Robustiano Chucho took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Corderun. Gavino Corderun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jeremias Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Nahueve's Jeremias Banegas in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quilmes's goalie prevented a goal. Severo Abecia's late challenge caught a Nahueve's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Abecia helped the player get up and apologised. Severo Abecia hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Jacinto Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Banegas to make the kick off. The supporters of Nahueve booed when Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes Nahueve got a freekick which was hit by Simon Nataniel. Robustiano Chucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Severo Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nahueve's Jeremias Banegas in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quilmes's goalie prevented a goal. Jacinto Birjaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Banegas came free, but Jacinto Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Banegas in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Birjaio saved Quilmes from getting behind. Jacinto Birjaio made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Jeremias Banegas sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Quilmes's Jacinto Birjaio got control of the ball when Jeremias Banegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Quilmes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nahueve were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
