Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Urtsua kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Arsenio Menendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Descanso Verde the free kick. Descanso Verde made a substitution. Bernabe Vasco replaced Honorio Vistruario. Arsenio Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Colón's goalkeeper Angelo Txilar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Paskal. In the 7th minute, Anacleto Kepa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Txilar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ramiro Vistruario. 29 minutes into the match, Colón's goal looked a bit too open when David Urtsua came free, but Angelo Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Mingo in the 32nd minute of play forced Descanso Verde's goalkeeper Ladislao Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Descanso Verde booed when Colón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bernabe Vasco fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Descanso Verde's protests and gave Bernabe Vasco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Bernabe Vasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Urtsua hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Erubiel Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Henry to strike the kick off in the second half. Colón's Tomas Sal got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Tomas Sal off the ground. Tomas Sal hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. David Urtsua kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Arsenio Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, David Urtsua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Descanso Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but David Urtsua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Txilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efrain Katia hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Descanso Verde's David Urtsua, in the 66th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Descanso Verde. The crowd rose to their feet as Lorenzo Geleberto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ladislao Illart. That made the score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, David Urtsua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Descanso Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but David Urtsua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Txilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Descanso Verde's Ladislao Illart got control of the ball when Hipolito Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Txilar came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Descanso Verde's Fabio Paskal. But to his dismay, Fabio Paskal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 82nd minute, David Urtsua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efrain Katia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When David Urtsua came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Descanso Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Urtsua couldn't finish the play. Ladislao Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Geleberto in the 91st minute of play. Bernabe Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
