Ladislao Illart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Descanso Verde's Ladislao Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Tebaldo in the 21st minute of play. Ladislao Illart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Tebaldo in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Descanso Verde got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Bernad. Anacleto Kepa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, one of Descanso Verde:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 39 played minutes Descanso Verde's Fabio Paskal stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Rigoberto Barros stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing La Villa of the goal. In the 47th minute Bernardo Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Illart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Honorio Vistruario fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Descanso Verde's protests and gave Honorio Vistruario a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Villa booed when Descanso Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Vistruario didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Urtsua to make the kick off. Brian Dechamps could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ladislao Illart made a huge save. In the 58th minute, David Urtsua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Illart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Admon in the 61st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Przemyslaw Tipinski got free with Ladislao Illart in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in La Villa's zone, Ambrosio Eate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Barros came out of the goal and Ambrosio Eate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Descanso Verde's David Urtsua in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Villa's goalie prevented a goal. Rigoberto Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Urtsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Tomás Tebaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Illart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Barros came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Descanso Verde's David Urtsua. But to his dismay, David Urtsua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Urtsua during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Descanso Verde got a freekick which was hit by David Urtsua. The crowd rose to their feet as Przemyslaw Tipinski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ladislao Illart. That made the score 2-2 in the 86 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Urtsua in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Descanso Verde getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ramiro Vistruario hit a great ball. With a little luck, Descanso Verde's Ladislao Illart got control of the ball when Tomás Tebaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
