Froilan Maties started the match with the kick off. Aquilino Inko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CHACARITA JUNIORS. After 21 minutes, Braulio Urbasa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concepción and the CHACARITA JUNIORS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave CHACARITA JUNIORS a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hugo Cesario, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Concepción's Aquilino Inko. 0-1. If Froilan Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, CHACARITA JUNIORS's Sotero Carrasco got control of the ball when Rodolfo Colon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, CHACARITA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Sotero Carrasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Acosta. The supporters of Concepción booed when CHACARITA JUNIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, CHACARITA JUNIORS's Benito Cesaro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benito Cesaro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CHACARITA JUNIORS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benito Cesaro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sotero Carrasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Maxin in the 41st minute of play. Sotero Carrasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Acosta went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Colon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Sotero Carrasco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Duarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Aquilino Inko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Froilan Maties showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Concepción's goalkeeper Aquilino Inko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Chorache. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Duarte in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sotero Carrasco saved CHACARITA JUNIORS from getting behind. A hard shot 67 in the game by Froilan Maties from a close distance when the talented Aquilino Inko managed to make a qualified save. Concepción's players were relieved. In the 69th minute, Concepción's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Osvaldo Chorache fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sotero Carrasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Duarte in the 73rd minute of play. Sotero Carrasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Colon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CHACARITA JUNIORS's Teofilo Perez got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Acosta in the 81st minute of play forced CHACARITA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Sotero Carrasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Colon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sotero Carrasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CHACARITA JUNIORS's Sotero Carrasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Acosta in the 86th minute of play. Sotero Carrasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Colon went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotero Carrasco having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CHACARITA JUNIORS's Teofilo Perez got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute of the match Blas Cordareo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sotero Carrasco skillfully saved the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the CHACARITA JUNIORS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Concepción.
