A collision led to Club Almagro getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Daniel Martino hit a great ball. Delmar Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Argina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sixto Lluciano fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Almagro's protests and gave Sixto Lluciano a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Club Almagro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arribeños FC:s goal. A hard shot 9 in the game by Ariel Argina from a close distance when the talented Delmar Montrel managed to make a qualified save. Club Almagro's players were relieved. When Sixto Lluciano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 10 minutes had been played. In the 11th match minute, Club Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Lluciano to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Argina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arribeños FC's Ariel Argina in 17 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Delmar Montrel guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 20th minute, Herminio Gaxan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silverio Gaspard during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arribeños FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Silverio Gaspard hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Eloy Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Almagro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Gaskon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Arribeños FC booed when Club Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Martino's late challenge caught a Arribeños FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Martino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, one of Club Almagro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Almagro. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ariel Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arribeños FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Argina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Montrel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmar Montrel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Gutxi's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ariel Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arribeños FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Argina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Montrel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristo Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Delmar Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Argina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Club Almagro's goalkeeper Delmar Montrel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Gutxi. Cristo Gutxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Arribeños FC's Cristo Gutxi in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Almagro's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Gutxi in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmar Montrel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Cristo Gutxi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Club Almagro's Delmar Montrel. Delmar Montrel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Almagro's goalkeeper Delmar Montrel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Ariel Argina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arribeños FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 79 minutes into the match, Ariel Argina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmar Montrel. Club Almagro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Argina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Delmar Montrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Argina in the 82nd minute of the match. Delmar Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Gutxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience was convinced that Ariel Argina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Montrel was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 95th minute of the match Hipolito Ur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmar Montrel skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that Arribeños FC were the better team. Arribeños FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
