Abelardo Tulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Federico Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Abelardo Tulio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Joanes. Amaná's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Tulio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 19th minute, Dionisio Hunfredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ruthian FC.'s Abelardo Tulio in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amaná's goalie prevented a goal. Lorenzo Atauri struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Federico Joanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruthian FC.. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Lorenzo Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruthian FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Atauri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Joanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Hunfredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 31 in the game by Dionisio Hunfredo from a close distance when the talented Teodoro Dunixi managed to make a qualified save. Ruthian FC.'s players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Oto in the 33rd minute of play forced Ruthian FC.'s goalkeeper Teodoro Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Joanes having to interfere. Abelardo Tulio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Joanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amaná's goalkeeper Federico Joanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Tulio to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Ruthian FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Pacifico to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Ruthian FC.'s Abelardo Tulio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Federico Joanes. Federico Joanes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 65th minute of the match Ruthian FC. got a corner. Amaná's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabricio Uzuri ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lorenzo Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruthian FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Atauri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Joanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abelardo Tulio took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Joanes. Federico Joanes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Abelardo Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Lorenzo Atauri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amaná's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Abelardo Tulio scored to the left of an out of position Federico Joanes, making the score, 0-4. The supporters of Ruthian FC. booed when Amaná was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Hunfredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Joanes was a little too slow when Abelardo Tulio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-5. Alejandro Cordaro charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Cordaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ruthian FC. booed when Amaná was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Abelardo Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Joanes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abelardo Tulio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 97 minute of play. The Amaná fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ruthian FC. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
