The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gustavo Evis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Sustrai in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Mauro Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Huly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Sotil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruperto Huly. Tandil FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tandil FC's Pablo Gabrio got a free kick in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Patricio Sustrai sped through Vértigo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Evis. When Gustavo Havier was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Gustavo Havier kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Bihar was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Tandil FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Gabrio. If Mauro Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Sustrai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Sustrai in the 60th minute of play forced Vértigo FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Omar Sandaili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Evis. Vértigo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Sandaili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
