The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, CapoDelSur's Cirilo Carlomagno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Fernado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Orlando Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Jerardo having to interfere. After 7 played minutes CapoDelSur got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Palban. After a rather tough play, CapoDelSur's Silvano Beltxe got a free kick in the 10th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Beltxe couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Hodei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Basilio Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes, CapoDelSur's Ivan Montrel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardo Fernado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CapoDelSur reached it. Paulo Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

ALFA CENTAURO's Paulo Steven got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jesus Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Ospin in the 59th minute of play forced CapoDelSur's goalkeeper Basilio Jerardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Steven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Basilio Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Hodei in the 70th minute of play forced CapoDelSur's goalkeeper Basilio Jerardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute of the match ALFA CENTAURO got a corner. CapoDelSur's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Bastia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marco Bastia made a great header on ALFA CENTAURO's corner, it was just that CapoDelSur's Basilio Jerardo managed to reach the ball for a save. Ivan Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. ALFA CENTAURO's Marco Bastia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CapoDelSur. Teofilo Hodei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Jerardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th minute Paulo Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Jerardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Paulo Steven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Paulo Steven came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the ALFA CENTAURO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Steven couldn't finish the play. ALFA CENTAURO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
