Cesare Nazzaro took the corner. The corner led El Perla Negra's Cesare Nazzaro to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustavo Isidor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cesar Erramu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Tibalt went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 23 minutes, Jesus Ospin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAP.Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Ospin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the El Perla Negra defense, Jesus Ospin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Erramu. The El Perla Negra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Erramu should have stopped the shot. With his leg Gustavo Isidor managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when El Perla Negra's Cesare Nazzaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 34 minutes into the match, CAP.Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Hotz came free, but Gustavo Isidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Ospin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Erramu saved El Perla Negra from getting behind. Cesar Erramu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Eliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes El Perla Negra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godofredo Ihazintu who took care of the corner kick. Danilo Ciceron tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cesar Erramu. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-4 in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, CAP.Talleres's Raimundo Banegas got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by CAP.Talleres's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesare Nazzaro was slow to take the kick. During this time El Perla Negra's players had a chance to rest. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesus Ospin to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Cesare Nazzaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Isidor was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. El Perla Negra's Amadeo Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustacio Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gustavo Isidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Cesare Nazzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Perla Negra's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Nazzaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Isidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luis Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Cesare Nazzaro made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Isidor. CAP.Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. After 75 played minutes El Perla Negra got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Loramendi. After 79 played minutes CAP.Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Sotil. After having played for 81 minutes, Amadeo Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Perla Negra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Hotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute Cesare Nazzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Isidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Ciceron during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CAP.Talleres booed when El Perla Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Oxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Isidor having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, El Perla Negra's goalkeeper Cesar Erramu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Tibalt. Jesus Ospin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The El Perla Negra manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing CAP.Talleres to win.
