El Perla Negra's Cesar Erramu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Tipi in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Celipe in the 6th minute of play forced El Perla Negra's goalkeeper Cesar Erramu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Eguen stood somewhat misplaced when Cesare Nazzaro came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. El Perla Negra's Cesar Erramu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Tipi in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, El Perla Negra's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Celipe came free, but Cesar Erramu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Elpidio Tipi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cesar Erramu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Celipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eustacio Loramendi fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Perla Negra's protests and gave Eustacio Loramendi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Perla Negra getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eustacio Loramendi hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Elpidio Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Erramu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Erramu came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Chichinales AFC's Blas Abreu. But to his dismay, Blas Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Armando Chico's late challenge caught a El Perla Negra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Chico helped the player get up and apologised. El Perla Negra's Cesare Nazzaro got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, El Perla Negra's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Celipe came free, but Cesar Erramu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes of play Chichinales AFC's Armando Chico was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 43rd match minute, Chichinales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Chico to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Laureano Celipe charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Celipe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Nazzaro in the 55th minute of play forced Chichinales AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chichinales AFC's Laureano Celipe got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Laureano Celipe off the ground. The supporters of El Perla Negra booed when Chichinales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, one of Chichinales AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave El Perla Negra a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cesare Nazzaro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chichinales AFC's Rosendo Eguen. 2-2. Roman Oxel took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Eguen. Rosendo Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesare Nazzaro in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Eguen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 minutes, Cesare Nazzaro made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Chichinales AFC's Rosendo Eguen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Cesare Nazzaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Eguen was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. When Eustacio Loramendi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. A collision led to El Perla Negra getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Eustacio Loramendi hit a great ball. Rosendo Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Oxel in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Ferrer in the 88th minute of play forced El Perla Negra's goalkeeper Cesar Erramu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Erramu having to interfere. The supporters of Chichinales AFC booed when El Perla Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Nazzaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chichinales AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
