An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Hats in the 7th minute of play forced Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C.'s goalkeeper Matthew Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Resto. The audience was convinced that Placido Hats's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matthew Guerra was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Matthew Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Osoitz in the 24th minute of play. After 44 minutes, Hector Ignatius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C. and the Averías players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardino Edwardo made a kick off. If Fausto Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Guerra made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Fausto Osoitz sent off a good shot on target. Justino Pelagius hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C.'s Matthew Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C. from getting a goal against them. Averías's Artemio Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Ignatius in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fausto Osoitz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C.'s Matthew Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Edwardo in the 89th minute of play forced Averías's goalkeeper Artemio Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C.'s goalkeeper Matthew Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Osoitz. In the 98th minute Placido Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Averías's performance. The match ended with a win for Averías.
