Berisso's Timoteo Tallia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Cresencio in the 7th minute of play. If Baldomiro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Pablo Cresencio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Mecánica Naranja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Cresencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Mecánica Naranja's attentive Ruperto Lain managed to snatch the ball when Gualterio Baleren made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes in the game, Pablo Cresencio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Timoteo Tallia having to interfere. Victorino Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. La Mecánica Naranja's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
