Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcos Ikatz made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Robustiano Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcial Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jorge Fraco came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the river fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Fraco couldn't finish the play. Marcial Dabi took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Louis. Roberto Louis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, river's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Ikatz came free, but Benito Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Balendin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Benito Mannie made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Lázaro Salvidor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The river fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 23 minutes of play, river's Lázaro Salvidor made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Louis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robustiano Boniel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 26th playminute. In the 30th minute, Jorge Fraco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lázaro Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lázaro Salvidor came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the river fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Salvidor couldn't finish the play. Fabian Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Roberto Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fabian Efraim came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the river fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Efraim couldn't finish the play. The Pozancón AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. river were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Salvidor was the one to do the kick off. river's Benito Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Ikatz in the 52nd minute of play. Roberto Louis came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by river's Lázaro Salvidor. But to his dismay, Lázaro Salvidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Benito Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Felipo in the 60th minute of play. Lázaro Salvidor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Louis having to make a save. Roberto Louis stood somewhat misplaced when Lázaro Salvidor came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 68 minute. Fabian Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Louis having to interfere. Benito Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Ikatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Lázaro Salvidor took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Roberto Louis to make any attempt to save it. In the 79th minute Augusto Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. river's Benito Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Balendin in the 81st minute of play. Lázaro Salvidor was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. river's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Roberto Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Jorge Fraco took a quick shot and it went in 2-8 without a chance for Roberto Louis to make any attempt to save it. 95 minutes into the game, Lázaro Salvidor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-9. Roberto Louis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
