Gerardo Astrada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavio Bertol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gerardo Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimeno Bingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Millano having to interfere. Jimeno Bingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ricardo Millano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Millano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Oxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Arturo Guipuzkoa came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the CABA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Guipuzkoa couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Millano made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jimeno Bingen sent off a good shot on target. If Hilario Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, CABA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Jordy to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Guipuzkoa was the one to do the kick off. Hilario Oxel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Millano having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Guipuzkoa in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Astrada saved Tacana AFC from getting behind. Jimeno Bingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Millano having to interfere. Hilario Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Flavio Bertol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilario Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Arturo Guipuzkoa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerardo Astrada, 0-1. 78 minutes into the match, CABA's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Oxel came free, but Ricardo Millano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Millano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Oxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Oxel in the 90th minute of play forced CABA's goalkeeper Ricardo Millano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Jimeno Bingen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CABA's Ricardo Millano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
