After a rather tough play, Theobald FC's Ismael Restu got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ismael Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Estavan having to interfere. Eusebio Oton's late challenge caught a Theobald FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebio Oton helped the player get up and apologised. Eusebio Oton hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ronnie Mullen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. 郝益银 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Ismael Restu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damaso Gabrio might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigio Estavan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldosivi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Restu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Ismael Restu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Damaso Gabrio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Theobald FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Gabrio couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronnie Mullen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Conrado Hitzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 minutes of play, Theobald FC's Celso Corderun made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Restu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Reinier Ijsselhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Estavan having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Natalio Cebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Damaso Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute.
