Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tadeo Ponciano got the match started through his kick off. Czeslaw Kapelski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jimmy Michalow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Iulian Geamănu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Michalow was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The supporters of Brenda FC booed when Cochrane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Brzonkala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pablo Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Brenda FC booed when Cochrane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Precioso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmy Michalow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Geamănu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute Tadeo Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Tohias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Michalow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Kapelski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Gaufred made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Silvano Hurko. In the 31st minute, Iulian Geamănu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Tadeo Ponciano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cochrane FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Brenda FC's Segundo Galsino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimmy Michalow narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute Tadeo Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Tohias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iulian Geamănu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Brenda FC's Iulian Geamănu got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jimmy Michalow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Tadeo Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochrane FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Ponciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brenda FC's zone, Federico Brini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Tohias came out of the goal and Federico Brini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeo Ponciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Tohias having to make a save. Czeslaw Kapelski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jimmy Michalow firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Cochrane FC's zone, Iulian Geamănu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Michalow came out of the goal and Iulian Geamănu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Brenda FC's Iulian Geamănu got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Ponciano in the 72nd minute of play forced Brenda FC's goalkeeper Pablo Tohias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tadeo Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cochrane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Ponciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Tohias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Czeslaw Kapelski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cochrane FC's Jimmy Michalow. Jimmy Michalow was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the game, Cochrane FC's Herminio Eguntsenti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Tohias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 91 minutes into the match, Brenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Precioso came free, but Pablo Tohias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Michalow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Lauaxeta in the 92nd minute of play. Blas Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Tadeo Ponciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Cochrane FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
