Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lagartos FC's Israel Cesario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Río Cuarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Israel Cesario might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erubiel Aurken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Israel Cesario ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Israel Cesario notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Río Cuarto's Erubiel Aurken. Erubiel Aurken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Higinio Christobal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Santo Ondino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Aurken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Florin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Israel Cesario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Aurken was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Lagartos FC's Santo Ondino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Lagartos FC from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the game, Eustacio Florin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Erubiel Aurken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the game, Lagartos FC's Eustacio Florin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Aurken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Rivero during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Río Cuarto booed when Lagartos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Rivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teo Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Lagartos FC's goalkeeper Santo Ondino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teo Jenaro.

The wind increased when Higinio Christobal made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Israel Cesario in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Aurken saved Río Cuarto from getting behind. After 55 played minutes Lagartos FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Lorencio. Eustacio Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Florin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erubiel Aurken having to make a save. Río Cuarto's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Israel Cesario 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. After 75 played minutes Lagartos FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Cesario. In the 76th minute Higinio Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Cesario took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Aurken. Erubiel Aurken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Teo Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Santo Ondino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Río Cuarto's Teo Jenaro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erubiel Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Cesario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Río Cuarto getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Felipe Contempomi hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Lagartos FC got a corner. Río Cuarto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gervasio Rivero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gervasio Rivero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Río Cuarto's Erubiel Aurken did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Río Cuarto's zone, Eustacio Florin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Aurken came out of the goal and Eustacio Florin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Lagartos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
