The referee ignored Versailles FC's protests and gave Tiburcio Berenguer a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelo Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Leme in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Karl Brask managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Clara Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Brask was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Versailles FC's Marcelo Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Leme in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Celsinho Leme made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Versailles FC's Marcelo Oihenarte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomás Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Ixidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute Pedro Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Brask might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Oihenarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Brask ran back to his position shaking his head. After 100 minutes, Gogo Oro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Clara Fc and the Versailles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Versailles FC booed when Santa Clara Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Oro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 101 minutes of play, Versailles FC's Pedro Faro made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Frans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Versailles FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
