La Union's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortaderas the free kick. A collision led to La Union getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Vito Recife hit a great ball. Eugenio Sustrai, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Cortaderas booed when La Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Nabar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Dziewulski in the 25th minute of play forced Cortaderas's goalkeeper Aureliano Iraido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Felipo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Nabar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Tomi in the 57th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Fabricio Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eugenio Sustrai came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Cortaderas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Sustrai couldn't finish the play. Tolek Lanczak hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Jonas Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Dziewulski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Iraido. Cortaderas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Dziewulski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Nabar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cortaderas's Aureliano Iraido got control of the ball when Martin Procopio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Vicente Tomi made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Nabar. La Union's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Cortaderas's Aureliano Iraido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Cortaderas from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes Cortaderas got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Felipo. Cortaderas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
