Vicente Sanduru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugeniusz Dziewulski in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Martin Procopio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Union's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Procopio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Sanduru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugeniusz Dziewulski struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Vicente Sanduru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Union. In the 10th minute, Martin Procopio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Sanduru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mateusz Drebit kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jeremias Nabar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Minati's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Anselmo Gaufred took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Sanduru. Vicente Sanduru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Wilfredo Ixona hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Venceslas in the 29th minute of play forced Ampallo's goalkeeper Vicente Sanduru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Haroldo Venceslas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vicente Sanduru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ampallo's Cesar Salvator got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugeniusz Dziewulski in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Sanduru saved Ampallo from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Ampallo's Mateusz Drebit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Nabar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Moises Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugeniusz Dziewulski to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Donato Minati was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampallo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Union the free kick. Donato Minati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jeremias Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Bernat charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Bernat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes La Union got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Bernat. After 66 played minutes Ampallo got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Salvator. La Union's Eugeniusz Dziewulski got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremias Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Minati in the 77th minute of play. Fabricio Bernat hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Moises Gil from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Jeremias Nabar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Drebit in the 85th minute of play forced La Union's goalkeeper Jeremias Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Mateusz Drebit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wilfredo Ixona fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ampallo's protests and gave Wilfredo Ixona a yellow card for diving instead. Wilfredo Ixona hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Orlando Gerazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Union had won after a very even match.
