The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuele Meo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gospodin Dimitrov in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Vaca y el Pollito's Gavino Llin got a free kick in the 9th minute. Cristian Urritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Avila in the 11th minute of the match. La Vaca y el Pollito's Emanuele Meo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save La Vaca y el Pollito from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute Timothy Avila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Urritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Urritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Sidoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Nicasio Dominic came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Grüttly AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Dominic couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Grüttly AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Ferdinand came free, but Cristian Urritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Avila in the 24th minute of play forced Grüttly AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Urritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, La Vaca y el Pollito's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Dominic came free, but Emanuele Meo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Oro hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Gaspar Piorno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Urritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Ralondo in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Teo Sidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Urritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Teo Sidoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Grüttly AFC booed when La Vaca y el Pollito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Gasteiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Piorno struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Emanuele Meo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grüttly AFC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Dominic was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Grüttly AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Urritz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teo Sidoro. In the 54th minute, Teo Sidoro made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Urritz. Grüttly AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Grüttly AFC booed when La Vaca y el Pollito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Grüttly AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Urritz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teo Sidoro. Cristian Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Sidoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Roberto Ferdinand could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Cristian Urritz however easily saved by the left post. After 85 minutes of play Grüttly AFC's Guido Oro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Guido Oro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Cristian Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Ralondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timothy Avila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Urritz having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Teo Sidoro took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Cristian Urritz to make any attempt to save it. La Vaca y el Pollito were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
