Arnulfo Gora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Gustavo Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, EL PORVENIR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Evis to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Cordera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Alfredo Millano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Roderigo in the 77th minute of play. EL PORVENIR made a substitution. Bruno Theodore replaced Benedicto Evis. Gustavo Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as EL PORVENIR's Bruno Theodore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnulfo Gora. That made the score 2-1 after 92 minutes of play.
