If Marcelo Mikolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Union Francesa getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Froilan Macario hit a great ball. Ramiro Mikelar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Nisio went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Remigio Demario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Richie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 35 played minutes C.A CORRE GUACHIN got a freekick which was hit by Raul Maule. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Remigio Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A CORRE GUACHIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Demario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Richie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Remigio Demario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Richie. Union Francesa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigio Demario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Gustavo Esdras hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Remigio Demario came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the C.A CORRE GUACHIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Demario couldn't finish the play. Union Francesa's Placido Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Demario in the 63rd minute of play. Florencio Urti charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Urti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Union Francesa's Florencio Urti got a free kick in the 64th minute. Placido Richie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Demario in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Union Francesa's goalkeeper Placido Richie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Mikolas. Union Francesa's Placido Richie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Union Francesa from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Barea got free with Placido Richie in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaias Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Richie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Mikolas in the 82nd minute. Remigio Demario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Placido Richie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Union Francesa's goalkeeper Placido Richie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Mikolas. In the 94th minute Remigio Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Richie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
