The audience was convinced that Alberto Cordaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriana Norino was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Hector Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Riverplatence AMD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
