Cecilio Maureo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Francisco Loreto made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Mattaldi's goalkeeper Francisco Loreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Maureo. If Saturnino Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattaldi's Francisco Loreto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Mattaldi from getting a goal against them. Jesus Tibalt kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Nereo Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mattaldi's Nereo Turi in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chacarita Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. Saturnino Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ubaldo Haritzeder was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Chacarita Juniors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mattaldi:s goal. Eliseo Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Turi in the 37th minute of play. Eliseo Llope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Eliseo Llope, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nereo Turi made a kick off. Samuel Caradaro charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Caradaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, Mattaldi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Caradaro to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Pastor Urbasa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliseo Llope. Pastor Urbasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Nereo Turi in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eliseo Llope, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Gervasio Atarratze came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Mattaldi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Atarratze couldn't finish the play. If Nereo Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Turi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Turi in the 83rd minute of play forced Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Eliseo Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Turi in the 85th minute of the match. If Nereo Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Urbasa in the 90th minute of play. Virgilio Caradaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseo Llope. Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mattaldi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
