Alejandro Quiroga hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Artemio Manny lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Saturnino Guifre went to the wrong direction when Codrin Pavelescu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 21 minutes into the match, C.S.Deportivo Lasallano's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Salbatore came free, but Saturnino Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejandro Quiroga hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Saturnino Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Pavelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. C.S.Deportivo Lasallano's Saturnino Guifre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Edur in the 26th minute of play. Gabriel Rutenio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Balasi having to interfere. Saturnino Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.S.Deportivo Lasallano's Saturnino Guifre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Salbatore in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Erling Grubb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Altagracia FC's Clemente Fonda got a free kick in the 45th minute. The C.S.Deportivo Lasallano players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Altagracia FC were winning 0-3.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Vladimiro Sagrario managed to get in a good position for a shot.
