Ciriaco Sabin hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Martin Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Benitez was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After 5 minutes, Ciriaco Sabin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Terraplen and the Sportivo Dock Sud players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Sportivo Dock Sud got a freekick which was hit by Manu Lanza. When Ivan Acosta fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Dock Sud's protests and gave Ivan Acosta a yellow card for diving instead. 9 minutes into the game, one of Sportivo Dock Sud:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rosendo Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Escobar in the 15th minute of play. Rosendo Benitez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Escobar in the 16th minute. Ciriaco Sabin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. El Terraplen's Rosendo Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Pasqual in the 19th minute of play. El Terraplen's Rosendo Benitez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save El Terraplen from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Benjamin Millano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute Martin Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Benitez made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Martin Escobar sent off a good shot on target. Rosendo Benitez had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Martin Escobar from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The Sportivo Dock Sud players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Terraplen were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Escobar was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Dock Sud's goalkeeper Saverio Remigio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, El Terraplen's Benjamin Millano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Remigio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodoro Su charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Su the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Sportivo Dock Sud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Su to maneuver through the defense. Sportivo Dock Sud's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Ciriaco Sabin scored to the left of an out of position Saverio Remigio, making the score, 0-2. The supporters of Sportivo Dock Sud booed when El Terraplen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Sabin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Martin Escobar sped through El Terraplen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rosendo Benitez. Rosendo Benitez came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Dock Sud's Hilario Pasqual. But to his dismay, Hilario Pasqual quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 88th minute, Roque Herena fired a really elegant long shot, but Saverio Remigio threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Benjamin Millano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Remigio having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sportivo Dock Sud had won after a very even match.
