The referee ignored LOS CEBOLLITAS FC's protests and gave Benito Rius a yellow card for diving instead. Deportivo Riestra made a substitution. Melchor Juvenal replaced Aldo Obano. Benito Rius hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Fabio Ritchie made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Basilio Jaunti sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Urko in the 10th minute of play forced Deportivo Riestra's goalkeeper Rafael Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Branco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Ritchie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ignacio Urko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Atarratze having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Gino Branco put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Ritchie. After 29 played minutes, Deportivo Riestra's Mariano Seme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabio Ritchie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Riestra reached it. Rafael Atarratze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Bide in the 31st minute of the match. Fabio Ritchie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino Branco in the 33rd minute. Gino Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Ritchie having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignacio Urko was the one to do the kick off. If Ignacio Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Riestra's Rafael Atarratze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Riestra from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Gino Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Ritchie. LOS CEBOLLITAS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gino Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, Gino Branco notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of LOS CEBOLLITAS FC's Fabio Ritchie. Fabio Ritchie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pawel Konopka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Ritchie. LOS CEBOLLITAS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Gino Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS CEBOLLITAS FC's Fabio Ritchie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Branco in the 79th minute of play forced LOS CEBOLLITAS FC's goalkeeper Fabio Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Urko in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Deportivo Riestra's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Urko came free, but Rafael Atarratze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guaberto Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Romeo Tabb fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Riestra's protests and gave Romeo Tabb a yellow card for diving instead. Deportivo Riestra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
