Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lorenzo Evarado started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA HAMMERS's goalkeeper Diego Pacifico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CA HAMMERS's Diego Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Evarado in the 6th minute of play. Geronimo Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Pacifico having to interfere. CHICAGO FIRE's Geronimo Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CHICAGO FIRE's Severino Bizen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alejandro Noe, made in the 17th minute of the game. Edgardo Sesuldo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! CA HAMMERS's Diego Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Aguirre in the 21st minute of play. Geronimo Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Diego Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lorenzo Evarado came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the CHICAGO FIRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Evarado couldn't finish the play. Geronimo Beturian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Pacifico having to make a save. Diego Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Beturian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Matej Kalman fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA HAMMERS's protests and gave Matej Kalman a yellow card for diving instead. Matej Kalman hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. CHICAGO FIRE's Edgardo Sesuldo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andres Astrada might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Havier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Astrada ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Geronimo Beturian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Pacifico, 1-0. In the 49th minute Andres Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Andres Astrada made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes CHICAGO FIRE got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Ubarna. 56 minutes into the match, CHICAGO FIRE's goalkeeper Sebastian Havier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matej Kalman. CHICAGO FIRE's Sebastian Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Astrada in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Geronimo Beturian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anastasio Aguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CA HAMMERS's Diego Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Playo in the 68th minute of play. Sebastian Havier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celestine Lolov in the 78th minute. Sebastian Havier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Astrada in the 80th minute of the match. When Isaac Playo fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHICAGO FIRE's protests and gave Isaac Playo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CA HAMMERS booed when CHICAGO FIRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, CHICAGO FIRE's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Astrada came free, but Sebastian Havier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matej Kalman was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 96th match minute, CA HAMMERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matej Kalman to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the CA HAMMERS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CHICAGO FIRE.
