The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Damaso Fernandes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Raimundo Urritz. 8 minutes into the game, Cipriano Niva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juntas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes San Luis the free kick. After a rather tough play, Juntas's Cipriano Niva got a free kick in the 8th minute. Raimundo Urritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Fernandes in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Juntas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Herensuge to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Estudiantes San Luis's goalkeeper Isidoro Sayveon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Herensuge. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes San Luis's Saturnino Pereyra got a free kick in the 16th minute. Raimundo Urritz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Raimundo Urritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Soin in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Damaso Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes San Luis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Juntas's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Ler came free, but Raimundo Urritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Damaso Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Raimundo Urritz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Estudiantes San Luis getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jan Heier hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Juntas's Aurelio Herensuge got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Raimundo Urritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Fernandes in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Salvador Ler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes San Luis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Damaso Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Sayveon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Herensuge in the 45th minute. Domingo Soin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvador Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Raimundo Urritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. Salvador Ler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes, Damaso Fernandes made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Juntas's Raimundo Urritz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Raimundo Urritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Fernandes in the 79th minute of play. Damaso Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Urritz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Fernandes in the 86th minute of play forced Juntas's goalkeeper Raimundo Urritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estudiantes San Luis's Isidoro Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Herensuge in the 91st minute of play. Raimundo Urritz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salvador Ler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 92 minute of play. When the match was over Estudiantes San Luis could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juntas throughout the match.
