Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Victorio Bonifaco came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cañuelas AFC's Guido Cordarin. But to his dismay, Guido Cordarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Melchor Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Cañuelas AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VILLAREAL:s goal. The goalkeeper, Norberto Chepe, was totally fooled by VILLAREAL's Marcelo Txeru, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the VILLAREAL defense, Guido Cordarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorio Bonifaco. The VILLAREAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorio Bonifaco should have stopped the shot. Cañuelas AFC's Guido Cordarin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guido Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes of play, VILLAREAL's Melchor Moise made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Chepe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norberto Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Cordaryal in the 39th minute of play. Siro Ruisko's late challenge caught a VILLAREAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Ruisko helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of VILLAREAL booed when Cañuelas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Ruisko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Xabat in the 46th minute of play forced Cañuelas AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Chepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After 52 played minutes VILLAREAL got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Rosario. Generoso Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cañuelas AFC's Guido Cordarin got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guido Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Moise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Norberto Chepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Chepe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saverio Xabat went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to VILLAREAL getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Paulino Rosario hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Cañuelas AFC were awarded a corner. Siro Ruisko went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cañuelas AFC's Siro Ruisko to fire away a dangerous shot which Victorio Bonifaco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 89th minute, Celestino Meder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Cordarin in the 94th minute of play forced VILLAREAL's goalkeeper Victorio Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cañuelas AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VILLAREAL.
