The supporters of C.U.B.A. FC booed when Mechongué FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Matia in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Aimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cesar Matia in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruperto Aimar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Matia in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Aimar saved Mechongué FC from getting behind. Ruperto Aimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Errando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes, Cesar Matia made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mechongué FC's Ruperto Aimar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mechongué FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Cesar Matia scored to the left of an out of position Ruperto Aimar, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of C.U.B.A. FC booed when Mechongué FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Olo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Cheche. Osvaldo Cheche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ruperto Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Matia in the 27th minute of the match. Cesar Matia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Matia made a kick off. Osvaldo Cheche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fabricio Errando hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Mechongué FC got a freekick which was hit by Albano Sagrario. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Olo in the 83rd minute of play forced C.U.B.A. FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jimeno Olo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osvaldo Cheche. That made the score 3-2 in the 89 minute of play. Osvaldo Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Olo in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.U.B.A. FC fully deserved thier win.
