Yatasto's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Bero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Handi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Savier succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Savier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Handi. Guzmán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Savier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 44th minute, Teofilo Celipe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Teofilo Celipe came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Guzmán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Celipe couldn't finish the play.

In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yatasto's goalkeeper Apolo Admon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guzmán's Cayetano Galtero got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Guzmán getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ovidio Corderun hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Guzmán's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Bero came free, but Augusto Handi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Admon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Celipe, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Yatasto's Gustavo Tab got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Apolo Admon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Celipe in the 84th minute of the match. Apolo Admon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Celipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teofilo Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Tab got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 93 played minutes Yatasto got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Tab. Guzmán's Cayetano Galtero got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guzmán players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yatasto.
