Augusto Columbo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belgrano's Arsenio Giraldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Oihenarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Eneas in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Beltza saved Defensores de Belgrano from getting behind. After 28 minutes of play, La Vela Puerca FC's Xorxe Villornate made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Beltza was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the game, Freddy Arixo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bartolo Oihenarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Eneas came free, but Geronimo Beltza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Eustacio Eneas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Beltza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Arixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Oihenarte having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Arsenio Giraldo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of La Vela Puerca FC's Bartolo Oihenarte. Bartolo Oihenarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Guillermo Cordeal took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Beltza. Geronimo Beltza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of La Vela Puerca FC booed when Defensores de Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Beltza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Cordeal went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Bartolo Oihenarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, La Vela Puerca FC's Silvano Txema got a free kick in the 69th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Baldomiro Semeno heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Augusto Columbo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Maldonado got free with Geronimo Beltza in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 played minutes La Vela Puerca FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Txema. La Vela Puerca FC's Bartolo Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Giraldo in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Alonzo Patxi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Belgrano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Guillermo Cordeal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Geronimo Beltza made a huge save. Geronimo Beltza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xorxe Villornate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Giraldo in the 91st minute of the match. If Freddy Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Vela Puerca FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
