Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Justino Goizeder started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes, Anibal Figueroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deferensores de Coghlan and the Oberá FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anibal Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Domingo Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justino Goizeder's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Eguerdi in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Pelayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, Deferensores de Coghlan's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Goizeder came free, but Domingo Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ramon Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gogo Lertxun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Deferensores de Coghlan got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Lertxun. In the 53rd minute of the match, Justino Goizeder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Domingo Pelayo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Desiderio Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Domingo Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Ramon Laurendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deferensores de Coghlan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Laurendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Martin Eguerdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oberá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Eguerdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justino Goizeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Domingo Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Eguerdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Domingo Pelayo made a huge save. In the 66th match minute, Deferensores de Coghlan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Cutberto to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Piearres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Lertxun in the 71st minute of play. Erasmo Piearres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Lertxun in the 74th minute of the match. Gogo Lertxun took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Piearres. Erasmo Piearres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Gogo Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Deferensores de Coghlan booed when Oberá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Olentzaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oberá FC's zone, Ramon Laurendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Piearres came out of the goal and Ramon Laurendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
