Saul Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Videl in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Cuchilla FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Horacio Ishmael fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 10th minute, Arturo Cordara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ramon Videl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Ongile was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Depo Merlo Oeste's Saul Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Videl in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Arturo Cordara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cuchilla FC's Lander Valcarcel. Lander Valcarcel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Depo Merlo Oeste booed when Cuchilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Depo Merlo Oeste's Ambrosio Mazuste slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lander Valcarcel. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. If Marcial Curcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Luis Che in the 42nd minute really tested Lander Valcarcel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Cuchilla FC's Lander Valcarcel got control of the ball when Prospero Guillelme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lander Valcarcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Isias in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Videl was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Cuchilla FC booed when Depo Merlo Oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Guillelme kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Lander Valcarcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Guillelme in the 61st minute of play. Arturo Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Marcial Curcio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lander Valcarcel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Lander Valcarcel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Guillelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Marcial Curcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Guillelme in the 82nd minute of play forced Cuchilla FC's goalkeeper Lander Valcarcel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Cuchilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Guillelme came free, but Lander Valcarcel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Depo Merlo Oeste's Arturo Cordara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lander Valcarcel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Lander Valcarcel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Marcial Curcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lander Valcarcel having to interfere. Iker Misael kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Guillelme in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lander Valcarcel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute, Cuchilla FC's Ramon Videl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cuchilla FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Depo Merlo Oeste.
