Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ildefonso Bermund started the match with the kick off. Via Subte's Niceto Firmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Via Subte from getting a goal against them. After 5 played minutes Santiago FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Fidele. A collision led to Santiago FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Maximiliano Gora hit a great ball. Gustavo Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Bermund in the 12th minute of the match. Gustavo Matthew came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Via Subte's Ildefonso Bermund. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Bermund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Oinatz in the 23rd minute of play forced Santiago FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Santiago FC booed when Via Subte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Dimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Santiago FC defense, Ildefonso Bermund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Matthew. The Santiago FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Matthew should have stopped the shot. Ildefonso Bermund took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Matthew. Gustavo Matthew dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Via Subte's Niceto Firmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Via Subte from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Alejandro Argoitz made the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Niceto Firmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago FC's Gustavo Matthew proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Santiago FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ildefonso Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Via Subte's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Bermund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Matthew breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 65 minutes, Ildefonso Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Via Subte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Bermund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Via Subte's Ildefonso Bermund in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santiago FC's goalie prevented a goal. The throw-in from Mauro Gelacio in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Santiago FC's Maximiliano Gora. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Alejandro Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santiago FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Argoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Firmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Via Subte booed when Santiago FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ildefonso Bermund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Matthew when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Ildefonso Bermund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Via Subte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 85 minutes into the game, Maximino Oinatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Via Subte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santiago FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Via Subte's Maximino Oinatz got a free kick in the 86th minute. The supporters of Via Subte booed when Santiago FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Argoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ildefonso Bermund struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gustavo Matthew didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Via Subte. 92 minutes into the game, Cesar Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Niceto Firmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo Matthew made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ildefonso Bermund sent off a good shot on target.
