Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cuquero FC's Angelo Vela started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Saul Clementi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amador Tanio was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 9th minute, Arnaldo Eguzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Arnaldo Eguzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Tanio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Efren charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Efren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Frontera getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dario Efren hit a great ball. Arnaldo Eguzki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Eguzki in the 27th minute of play forced Cuquero FC's goalkeeper Amador Tanio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Clementi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Tanio having to interfere. Vicente Castulo charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Castulo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Cuquero FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Frontera:s goal. 46 minutes into the match, Frontera's goalkeeper Victoriano Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Lonzo. In the 47th minute Cuquero FC were awarded a corner. Vicente Castulo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Cuquero FC's corner Vicente Castulo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victoriano Machado quite easily take care of the ball.

The wind increased when Saul Clementi made the kick off in the second half. If Angelo Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Saul Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Tanio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute of the game, Matias Mikeldi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 56 minutes into the game, Artemio Musko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuquero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera the free kick. Artemio Musko kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Angelo Vela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Machado having to make a save. A collision led to Frontera getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dario Efren hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Angelo Vela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuquero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Octavio Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Frontera's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Lonzo came free, but Victoriano Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Lonzo in the 73rd minute of play. Arnaldo Eguzki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Amador Tanio made a huge save. Saul Clementi struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Amador Tanio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera. Arnaldo Eguzki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amador Tanio having to make a save. With a little luck, Cuquero FC's Amador Tanio got control of the ball when Dario Efren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Frontera's Saul Clementi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Tanio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Dario Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Tanio made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Arnaldo Eguzki sent off a good shot on target. Felix Hug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Frontera had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
