Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Hernandez in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Maore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justino Hernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saverio Maore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Ataliva AFC's Saverio Maore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Hernandez in the 7th minute of play. Jonatan Hever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Esteve Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Domingos Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudadela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Piorno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Maore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Maore having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Justino Hernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Maore was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Ciudadela FC's Justino Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteve Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ciudadela FC booed when Ataliva AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Aires didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Anselmo Tino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciudadela FC and the Ataliva AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anselmo Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ciudadela FC's zone, Eustacio Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Aires came out of the goal and Eustacio Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Piorno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Saverio Maore made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justino Hernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Justino Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudadela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ciudadela FC booed when Ataliva AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Baudelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Piorno in the 61st minute of the match. Jonatan Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ciudadela FC fully deserved thier win.
