Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Astor Lore got the match started through his kick off. When Galaxy's Patrick Mellberg in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALL STARS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 6th minute, Justo Quintan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Xacintu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Lore's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ALL STARS's zone, Teobaldo Colon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Guillelmo came out of the goal and Teobaldo Colon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Mellberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. ALL STARS's Placido Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Bartuelo in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, ALL STARS's Placido Guillelmo got control of the ball when Patrick Mellberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Placido Guillelmo managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Galaxy's Patrick Mellberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 25 minutes, Astor Lore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALL STARS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Lore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Tono kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Elias Sustrai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ALL STARS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galaxy the free kick. The supporters of Galaxy booed when ALL STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Astor Lore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALL STARS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half ALL STARS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Mellberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Galaxy's Fulgencio Xacintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Galaxy from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, ALL STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Mellberg came free, but Placido Guillelmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ALL STARS getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Astor Lore hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Patrick Mellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Guillelmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Mellberg scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Placido Guillelmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hipolito Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Erdiano took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Xacintu. Fulgencio Xacintu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Astor Lore hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Hipolito Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Damaso Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Patrick Mellberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Placido Guillelmo was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. ALL STARS's Placido Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Mellberg in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, ALL STARS's Erasmo Tono got a free kick in the 89th minute. Galaxy's Hipolito Romero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ALL STARS. Placido Guillelmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Romero in the 91st minute of the match. Chants of ALL STARS echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Galaxy had held the ball for most of the match.
