One of Malota FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alsina:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Favila in the 9th minute of play forced Malota FC's goalkeeper Serafino Txordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Nicolás Torrijos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Txordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Favila in the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Paolo Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alsina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Santiago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Favila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Txordon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Paolo Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Santiago to make the kick off. Paolo Santiago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafino Txordon having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jairo Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alsina's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Txordon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Arias struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Nicolás Torrijos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malota FC. Paolo Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Txordon having to interfere. Malota FC's Adan Enekoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celso Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolás Torrijos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alsina's Atilano Sandalio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Celso Arias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolás Torrijos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Paolo Santiago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Txordon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alsina's Jairo Evis got a free kick in the 94th minute. Alsina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
