Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paolo Santiago took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Profundidad FC booed when Alsina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Fabricio Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Profundidad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Maureo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Arnulfo Fernado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolás Torrijos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Paolo Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alsina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Santiago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolás Torrijos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Fernado went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Alsina defense, Samuel Horado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolás Torrijos. The Alsina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolás Torrijos should have stopped the shot. Arnulfo Fernado struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Nicolás Torrijos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Profundidad FC. The supporters of Profundidad FC booed when Alsina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Nemesio Godoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alsina and the Profundidad FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Nemesio Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Maureo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolás Torrijos. Nicolás Torrijos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Fabricio Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Torrijos having to interfere. Gerardo Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Torrijos having to interfere. Nicolás Torrijos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Horado's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Fabricio Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Torrijos having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Horado made a kick off. Alfonso Dolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Santiago went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Profundidad FC's Fabricio Maureo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolás Torrijos. That made the score 1-5 after 56 minutes of play. After 61st play minutes Fabricio Maureo shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Nicolás Torrijos and just under the crossbar into goal. Nicolás Torrijos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Fernado, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Profundidad FC got a corner. Alsina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnulfo Fernado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Profundidad FC's Arnulfo Fernado to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolás Torrijos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paolo Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Dolfo having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Profundidad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Santiago came free, but Alfonso Dolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Arturo Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alsina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Favila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Horado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Nicolás Torrijos 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Alsina's Nemesio Godoy got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Arturo Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alfonso Dolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Profundidad FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
