After a defensive mix-up in Profundidad FC's zone, Celso Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Dolfo came out of the goal and Celso Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Samuel Horado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafino Txordon was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 33 minutes Malota FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnulfo Fernado who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Malota FC's goalie and right to Patricio Acuña. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Malota FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gerardo Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Celso Arias struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Alfonso Dolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malota FC. If Patricio Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Elizardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Serafino Txordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Fernado, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Alfonso Dolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Arias in the 61st minute of play. If Adan Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Clemente Elizardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Dolfo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Celso Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Malota FC's Serafino Txordon got control of the ball when Fabricio Maureo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Clemente Elizardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Horado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Serafino Txordon made a huge save. Celso Arias hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Serafino Txordon made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Fabricio Maureo sent off a good shot on target. Profundidad FC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Malota FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnulfo Fernado took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Fabricio Maureo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 96 minutes into the match. Profundidad FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
