With a little luck, LOS PIRATAS's Eulalio Tabb got control of the ball when Primitivo Herauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Ortle in the 5th minute of play forced Alberdi's goalkeeper Aurelio Cloyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of LOS PIRATAS booed when Alberdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th match minute, Alberdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Felipillo to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Alberdi's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Stephen came free, but Aurelio Cloyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cipriano Medero fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alberdi's protests and gave Cipriano Medero a yellow card for diving instead. When LOS PIRATAS's Gavino Stephen in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aurelio Cloyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavino Stephen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Medardo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alberdi's Zeledon Goyo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Eulalio Tabb successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Ortle in the 41st minute of play forced Alberdi's goalkeeper Aurelio Cloyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Eulalio Tabb made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Luciano Ortle made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Cloyo. Alberdi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavino Stephen to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Alberdi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gogo Ellande fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Alberdi's Fabian Firmo got a free kick in the 54th minute. Atilano Felipillo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alberdi's goalkeeper Aurelio Cloyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelio Cloyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Ortle in the 70th minute of the match. Aurelio Cloyo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gavino Stephen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. Ismael Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Eulalio Tabb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Herauso's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After 78 played minutes LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Ovando. In the 81st minute, Ovidio Otoniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS PIRATAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. LOS PIRATAS's Eulalio Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Franco in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the LOS PIRATAS defense, Bruno Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Tabb. The LOS PIRATAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Tabb should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Franco in the 92nd minute of play forced LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Eulalio Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Alberdi's Primitivo Herauso got a free kick in the 97th minute. The LOS PIRATAS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
