Genaro Geofredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Mateus went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the game, Damian Vela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Mafia De Massoni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CARLITERA FC the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Damian Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Clemencin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Pablo Haritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CARLITERA FC. 47 minutes into the match, La Mafia De Massoni's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Bartoli came free, but Pablo Haritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Henry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Mafia De Massoni's Pablo Haritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Bartoli in the 77th minute of play. Damian Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Geofredo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Vinicio Bartoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. CARLITERA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Bartoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Haritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Rony Pimenta put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pablo Haritz. CARLITERA FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
