After 7 minutes, Dan Törnkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virreyes FC and the WE United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Virreyes FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Dan Törnkvist hit a great ball. İlkan Özgiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Llanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jonas Llanos came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the WE United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Llanos couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Hug made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Orkatz in the 14th minute. A collision led to WE United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Silvano Oso hit a great ball. With his leg Ermegildo Hug managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Virreyes FC's Jorge Comas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Virreyes FC's Martin Orkatz in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WE United's goalie prevented a goal. 27 minutes into the match, WE United's goalkeeper Ermegildo Hug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Orkatz. Martin Orkatz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Ermegildo Hug when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 42 minutes of play, Virreyes FC's Martin Orkatz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermegildo Hug was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorge Comas in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ermegildo Hug, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonas Llanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlkan Özgiray having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Orkatz made a kick off. Ermegildo Hug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Comas in the 56th minute of the match. If Jorge Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Eduardo Segio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WE United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Segio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İlkan Özgiray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Llanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Virreyes FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
