Saturnino Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Ituzaingó's goalkeeper Carolo Hurko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Burni. Carolo Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Meder in the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Burni got free with Carolo Hurko in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 minutes, Alonzo Elazar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ituzaingó and the Claromeco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Alonzo Elazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 54th minute, Alonzo Elazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ituzaingó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 58 played minutes Ituzaingó got a freekick which was hit by Rene Bastiaro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Cuarto during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilfredo Meder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Claromeco's goalkeeper Saturnino Bermudez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Ituzaingó's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Meder came free, but Carolo Hurko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Bittor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Saturnino Bermudez made a huge save. Ituzaingó played a much better game than Claromeco and deserved their victory. The Claromeco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
