Ariel Montes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute Marcos Endira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Ekain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Ekain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Iban in the 19th minute of the match. Román old boys's attentive Rigoberto Michael managed to snatch the ball when Matias Dei made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Iban in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Ekain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Ekain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Iban's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Juan Seme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ariel Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Enekoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ariel Montes made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Enekoitz got free with Ariel Montes in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Román old boys's Ariel Montes got control of the ball when Rodolfo Enekoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ariel Montes made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Rodolfo Enekoitz sent off a good shot on target. Eustaquio Errolan hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pueyrredon FC's zone, Marcos Endira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Ekain came out of the goal and Marcos Endira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Matia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Iban was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rodolfo Enekoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Montes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 57 minutes into the match, Dante Estefan notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Román old boys's Ariel Montes. Ariel Montes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Pueyrredon FC's goalkeeper Hector Ekain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Iban. After 62 minutes of play, Pueyrredon FC's Teofilo Efraim made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Montes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 66 played minutes Román old boys got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Jobo. If Benito Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ariel Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Estefan in the 74th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Román old boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Jobo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Benito Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot.
