The supporters of el taladro fc booed when Florida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Marz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Beila was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes el taladro fc got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Beila. Isaias Lope struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jairo Ekhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florida AFC. In the 24th minute Albano Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Blanco might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Banegas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacobo Blanco ran back to his position shaking his head. el taladro fc's Jairo Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Bernad in the 30th minute of play. Jairo Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Bernad in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Pastor Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Florida AFC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Florida AFC's Ruperto Bernad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Florida AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruperto Bernad to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ruperto Bernad took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jairo Ekhi to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st minute, Constantino Seber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Selmo in the 68th minute of play. Pastor Selmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jairo Ekhi made a huge save. el taladro fc's Jairo Ekhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save el taladro fc from getting a goal against them. Jairo Ekhi made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ruperto Bernad sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Florida AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ruperto Bernad hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Bernad in the 89th minute of play forced el taladro fc's goalkeeper Jairo Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of el taladro fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Florida AFC:s goal. After a rather tough play, Florida AFC's Pastor Selmo got a free kick in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Seber in the 96th minute of play forced Florida AFC's goalkeeper Jeronimo Banegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
